Landslide
Lee Yue Xin! Happy birthday man! Very naughty liao ah , next time don't drink so much.
Sigh, the job agency has yet to get back to me, so currently still... jobless~ Hate the same old routine of waking up late and seeing the sun for less than 5 hours every day. What to do?? Guess that i'm still desperately digging for my compass.
Went to queensway on tues to meet up with quan and rome. Initally wanna get a "Ace killer" plaque for yx but ... not enough time to get it done... After that went to timah to meet fred for soccer and frisbee.. Oh come on, what's so fun abt frisbee... QUAN/FRED if u'll are seeing this, too bad ~~ Played for like 3 hrs or so then left for dinner at timah market...
Wednesday. Woke up really early to meet Hwa Jie, Jerome Thng, Nicky and Shaun to climb hill! For once ningy isn't late.. Snowie~ hai, disappointing..... Took quite awhile to get started... Climbed for like 2 hrs plus or so then left for GLM! Afterwards shaun and jerome accompanied me to go back PJ to get my class photos.. I bet Mr.Ling damn afraid of them ba, see shaun's face also cannot pee straight le. Left for pool afterwards before going home and spending the rest of my night away in the land of dota.
Thursday, woke up earlier than usual ( 12pm ) to accompany my mum to get birthday present for my bro. Feasted at some thai restaurant at Holland V for dinner. Gosh, the food there is damn delicious! Went off to meet nicky at westmall first before going to bishan to surprise yx at his friend's place! What's up with the trend lately of surprising the birthday boy? Oh, yx parents also came, which make the surprise even better! Anw, the house is really big.. 1.5 times of my house? Hid at the kitchen to surprise him and yeah, fred said something really true: We should bring the surprise to the birthday boy and not the other way round? Kinda agree with it~ ah, nvm, everything turns out well isn't it? Slacked for like 3/4 hours next before beginning with our very own : Texas TRUTH poker! Haha, what a night !!... winks winks *** to the participants. Word of the day: REALISTICALLY! LOLS, justin frigging owns with that word. Played till 6am before taking cab home. Can feel my body is suffering from the effects of "tonning". Went back home at ard 7am and saw my dad! LOL. Heng nothing happens... ( we still bid gd morning to each other aye~ )

Alright, went to prom on tues. Have to say the 85 dollars really not well worth a single penny. Went out with Si Hong friends after that till 6am. I really no mood to post. Let the pics do the talking ...

Tribute
This post is dedicated to the most outstanding keeper that i had ever teamed with. Although I don't know him well in person, things he did for KFC totally deserved my utmost respect.
Everytime we needed someone in between the sticks, the first thing that came to our mind was, MALIK! We need Malik!! He was an indispensable figure. His presence always lift our confidence as we knew we had someone reliable at the back even when the opponents breached our last line of defense.
I can still remember traveling half of Singapore to Yio Chu Kang to play against some church team. Somemore the weather was freaking shitty that day, raining like nobody's business. Living in Jurong West, he travelled half of Singapore to help us play despite not knowing anyone of us except for Justin. Incredibly touching for someone of his calibre to travel that far to play for a complete "stranger team". A first choice keeper in NP soccer team somemore. It's like David Beckham playing for a Sunday league soccer team. We don't deserve him making that kind of sacrifices to represent our team in such lowly friendly matches.
Thank You Malik for going to the distance to help us.... defending the team when we were unfairly bullied by Faiz's team.... leading the team for some warm down exercises with our heads held high even though we lost to the church team.... turning up for our matches even though you were injured and helping us to scout for venues to play our matches. Big thanks to everything you had done for the team.
You will always be the #1 keeper for KFC. In forever lasting memory, Rest In Peace.

As usual, he's being such a letdown... Haha, vintage brian! Go view his blog for more interesting details. "I HOPE UR BABY DIES" ... ROFL man brainy~ Hahaha.
Oh yeah, finally prelims over. After chem, went to play bball with Si Hong and the rest. Initially went to some court to play. Then one big bunch of bastards (can see they VERY EDUCATED) came over with their soccer ball and taunted us to get off the court. Basket, just like what brian said, next time our tax money will pay for their prison cells... No point degrading myself to their level, one bunch of ignorant and future-less monkeys.
Went over to Zhenghua to play for awhile and managed to win yet another bunch of gangsters- wanna-be. The best thing is, my team compromises of 3 guys and 2 girls and we beat the opposition in a 5v5 full court match! Haha, what a victory man. Alright, did sustain an injury on my left leg T_T. Muscle injury somemore, crap.
Tdy went to NUH to do my medical review. After tt, i went to visit my father's mother's brother's wife... ( I dunno hw to address her ).
With all due respect, she's really fortunate to be still breathing at the age of 91. Half paralysed, she's basically awaiting for God to take her away. Every breath she takes seems like the last one. She tried to communicate with us, but none of us can really decipher what was she trying to convey.
This was my first time witnessing someone on her death bed, desperately to see off each and every passing second in life. What was she trying to tell us? That she's feeling really tired to suffer through this amount of pain before she sleeps? Or there's something in life that she wanted us to help her fufil? All i can see was one set of weary eyes aimlessly looking around to catch one last glimpse of this cruel world. A world that she begged to take her away from.
Speechless? Quite rightly do. What more can we say? THIS? "Everything's gonna be alright?"
How many times in life did we mention the above words when things are really beyond redemption? Foolishly lying to ourselves to temporary see off an impeding storm. What actually lies ahead is an unforgiving tsunami that leaves a trail of destruction at its wake. To satisfy our temporary comfort for our future? We do need to change =)
Fear is just what we are accustomed to. We will never step out of our shadows if we continue to cling on within our comfort zone. It doesn't matter if I'm the first or the fourth, i will still give it a try and i mean it =)
Alright is already 2.34am now and there's till CC tmr at 10am. Yawns! Ciaoz..

Why are You still not moving?
We seek for insurance in life. How many times have we experience situations when we blindly deceived ourselves into thinking everything's gonna be alright?
Not so long ago, i gotten a cut from the barbed wire when trying to retrieve a soccer ball. It was really bleeding then. Even though it hurts, i know i had to foolishly put up a "IT'S ALRIGHT" expression to everyone that witnessed that incident. I tried everything i could to stop the bleeding. In the end, i applied a piece of plaster to my wound even though i know after all, the cut will eventually become a scar. Yeah, a deep long lying scar that runs down my hand up till date.
So in the first place, why did i even bother to paste a plaster on it? To make myself feel better by just playing safe to prevent the open wound from being infected?
Alright. When we look ahead. everything is back to square one again. Oh wait. What's that scar doing down there ? ... ...
On a sidenote, happy 18th birthday fred =)

Yes, i'm 18! Haha. Looking at the plus side, i gained clearance in purchasing alcoholic drinks. Gone were the days when i was still underage, now then, I can choose when and where i wanna drink. Hahaha. No longer is drinking a restriction, it's now a matter of choice! With each growing year, i have to shoulder more and more responsibilities. Be it in day to day communication, or through my actions. Looking ahead, there's still a large playing field waiting for me to conquer. Oh well, I'm pretty ambitious to say the least. There are really so many things that i want to do in life! K, enough said. Let's proceed on to serious business aye!

Hmm, to summarize it... A really roller-coaster day. Date back to 12 midnight then. Guess who's the first one who wished me happy birthday? EDDY CHANG. If it has to be someone, it's gonna be him. Tho there's a difference in time zone, he still made an effort to offer his wishes. ( PUFF! ) Thanks again for being such a wonderful friend! Haha. Did receive a few sms-es from my secondary school friends. However, NONE and i mean NONE of my so called buddies did sms me at night. Alright, actually Ozy did.. Haha, but tt was really late the night, still.. much appreciated man.. thanks for organizing this with YOU-KNOW-WHO. Haha. Basket... Hahaha. So well, justin gave me call later in the night and wished me happy birthday. Alright, he said something like we will call you out for dinner at night. Ok, nice consolation =( . Finished up my chem before heading for bed. On that afternoon itself, my JC friends came over to "study". Chantel, Gladys and Xuan Min arrived first before Felicia and Si Hong made their way here. Studied abit and well, they celebrated my birthday together with my family members. Oh, almost forgot. My dad did give me a call too. What an important figure is he in my life. Still a pity that he cannot be present to celebrate my birthday with me. To everyone out there who happens to read this post, please and i mean please. Cherish your loved ones, especially your parents =)
Around 5pm, Angela finally came over to my place. Yeah, she cannot afford to miss out on such an occasion, somemore it's my birthday OR. To angela: It's all about choices, make the right one! Really glad that you turned up with a smile on your face. Thanks man.
Later in the night, Johann came over to my place along with his dog AJ. His dog is really BIG. To OZY: Rocky will really look like a peanut when placed side by side with that AJ.
Played a few rounds of texas poker too! Haha. If anyone seen how Angela plays, it's really LOLS man. Really treat the chips like potato chips. Dump into the pot without any considerations. Partly also becuz of her "assistant". Keep asking her , GOGOGOGO! You should noe who you are huh. Bet that u're laughing after seeing the previous line.
Later in the night, Angela, Chantel and I went to "Gone Fishing" to drink. Yes! I really felt that I've turned 18 from the moment i ordered a bottle of beer without trying hard to not to twitch my eyebrows! HAHA. That feeling is like punching the air with in delight. Sat down and drank a few bottles with them. Hope that therapy helps eh! Up next, some of the photos taken during that drinking session.

Alright, chit chat for a while before sending them back home. Special thanks to Gladys and Samantha too. Basket, this 2 yishun sisters lived so far away and they still manage to come down to celebrate with me. Thaangs! As for the rest of my jc clique, thanks for giving face to me by coming down, although a few ended up as tho they got slapped in the face right at the end! haha, thank you all too!
Looking at my watch, oh my gosh, it's already 10:30pm and NO NEWS FROM THEM! By then, it's getting abit worrying. Sigh, i will be lying if i said i'm not disappointed. Went home, bathe and chat with Yvonne online... She kept telling me: Don't be too disappointed.. They must have their reasons...
Alright, THERE'S A REASON WHY yvonne said all those things. Part of yet another conspiracy. Aim: make me feel more emo.. AH yes, u all succeeded... Alright, here comes the finale.. It was 12 am when suddenly, justin came up to say hi to me. I was thinking, : how did he manage to enter my place, I did lock the gate right? " So i went down and yeah, the long awaited surprise... All of them burst out with those little party poppers in their hands... HAHA, at that instance, i was too shocked to even move.. Hahaha! Thank you guys, love you for life. Those who were present ( in alphabetical order ) : Alfred, Justin, Niggy, Ozy, Soon Heng, Wee Teck, Wei Quan, Yong le, Yue xin and Ying Hui. Haha, 6 yrs friendship! You guys are the best!
Thanks for the birthday gift.. Really a "Villalf 7" Arsenal jersey that i joked about it sometime ago. Upload the pics next time =) Initially, i wanted to go over to rail mall to drink. However, once we reached there, ALL THE SHOPS CLOSED! What the hell. We ended up going to coffee bean first. Slack for a while before going to "EAT" to eat BAH CHO MEE! It really tastes good man! Chatted abit and saw many heads lying flat on the table... Need to say a big thanks to all of you man. Soon Heng just broke camp on that day itself. Wei Quan just endured a grueling week of training and competition. Alfred just knocked off from work at 11 plus. Weeteck and Ozy had a soccer competition earlier in the day. Nicky worked till his socks off everyday this week and still turned up in his formal attire. Not forgetting the rest who also find time to spend the night with me. These are the things which you all think i may have overlook but well, I'm villalf! Really appreciate the efforts from each and everyone of you all. Took a cab and alas, so much for my happy ending!

There you go, our 100th post. Dedicating this to some Brian over at the other side of the world.
still rmb vividly those days that we spent studying unproductively for O's, be it in Mac or in the skl's library. We still pangseh our class's soccer match for studying. Turned out later that the rest ended up got scolded by Mr.Quek. HAHA.
Words cannot explain my gratitude towards u man. Got to know u through justin during our lower sec skl days. A year later, we happened to be in the same class. At first it was really hard to integrate with the rest of the guys, since all my buddies all chose to take history =.= Yeah, you were the first one that i really befriended with in the class and thanks for being such a livewire, haha.

Recently. something tragic happen. Not so long ago, i was thirsty and went frantically searching for a drink in the fridge. To my surprise, i came across a bottle of coke which i purchased exactly a year and 6 months ago.
And so, i murmured to myself: It's been a long time coming....
I checked the expiry date of the bottle and luckily, there's still 3 more months before it expires. Without hesitation, i tried opening the cap but it's way too tight. The more i tried to force it out, the more bruises and injuries i sustained from it. Finally, after much struggle, i managed to open the cap. However, the contents in the bottle started to flow out rapidly and i had to witness the scene of drops after drops of coke flowing out of the bottle.
Shuacks. By the time i composed myself and tilted the bottle back, there's only half of the coke left in the bottle. Shell shocked? Quite rightly true. All i could do then was to gaze blankly at those coke which was spilled on the floor and treasure the remaining left in the bottle.
... ...
Not the outcome that i longed for.
Guess what.. a paradigm shift.. with no further ado, and no considerations whatsoever, I buried the ruins of the beverage under the penetrating offal

A Half Empty Glass

Flashback of the past when moving from stations to stations. Just like how people get in and out after each station, life is all about timing. When it's time to go, people will find a new goal and will set everything aside to realize their aspirations. The sense of loneliness grows after each passing stop. Friends today, strangers tomorrow. Maybe some other day we will chance upon each other in the streets of London. A simple Hi is just all it takes for the both of us to finally be reconciled. As for now, off you go my friend, yet another one.
6pm. The power of friendship. Willing to go the distance to help one another. Really touching, especially when all the odds are against you. When you have little to rely on, frens are like the angels beside you to lend u a helping hand or maybe, a helping piece of tissue paper.
Ignorance.
Just like what eddy says: 人的本性是善良的. Why can't we do our part to salvage the lives of those who are struggling with love. All we need to do is to spare them some attention. Just abit will do. Be someone that can touch their lives. Make them open their hearts out to you. Poof! There goes a quarter of a day. But what i get in return is more than just a payday to clock up more hours that i need.

Closing time - Semisonic
Whee, finally the end of mid years. Got exactly a week to enjoy this break. Oh, let's do a recap on some recent events... On Sunday itself, i had so much dilemma in whether should i watch the finals or head straight to bed to get myself ample rest for my upcoming chem exam..
After a few hours, the lure of watching the Euro finals was just too tempting. The best part was that i was still struggling to figure out how to draw the pH titration curve properly. Went out at 1am to meet niggy for supper at railmall. Luckily my bro send me there. saving me all the trouble of needa walk such a long tiring distance. Sat down and chit-chat for a while before going back home to catch the SPAIN vs Germany match live and exclusive! Before the match began, my bro told me that the whole world will be taking on Germany to win the game. Turns out, hahaha, Spain finally ended their duck. Gone were the days of being labelled as an epic failure in major tournaments. HAHA! Even though David Villa was out, the Spanish firepower's still too hot to handle for those Nazis.
Spain started out quite nervously man. Basket, Sergio Ramos presented a clear cut opportunity for Klose to pounce on but luckily, Puyol too good? After a nervy start, the rest of the 75 minutes can say really truly belong to the ESPANAS! "EL-NINO" got the telling finish to separate both sides after being put through by a delightful Xavi's through pass. Too fast for Lahm? Yeah, Way too good... I couldn't contain my joy at that very moment when the ball rolled into the net. And at the same time, both of my bros the faces are as black as justin? LOLS, they bought Germany to win but well, Torres ( EL-NINO ) had other ideas...
After the match, ( looking at the clock ), GOSH! I only left 1.5 hrs to sleep? Next day needing 2 cans of red bull in the space of 3 hrs to keep myself awake... But well, it's all worth it, muahaha. Spain won the championship, David Villa won the golden boot and 9 of the 23 best players from the tournament came from Spain ......
Just simply too fantastic! Even the German newspapers all concede that they had lost to a team that plays absolutely sizzling and mesmerizing football, a class way above them! HAHA
There goes Monday and HA, tdy ( tuesday ) last paper liao huh! Things didn't go as well as expected. I prolly gotten more readings from my calculator that reads "ERROR" than the amount of times i finished a question totally. Oh well, let bygones be bygones. After that went to meet my mum first for lunch before heading to NP to support Yuexin and Lele's booth... Not bad man, alot of people went there to support their booth. Saw the likes of Ozy, Justin, Ying Hui and Christine over there...... After sweetening my eyes for an hr or so, Ozy and I decided to go Beauty World to find Brian Heng...... Along the way Ozy chanced upon his fellow Soka member. Her name was Cecila issit? Cant really remember. She looks really young man. At first glance, your first impression of her will be: Wah, should be a freshie, given her looks.... Turns out.. Nvm keep the age confidential. As the saying goes, don't judge a book by its cover. Haha, true true.
Played abit of pool then. Oh, Wei Quan came and played with him while Ozy went to Brian's hse to play mahjong. Basket, gonna rant about this. Out of the 10 matches played against Quan, i managed to win 2 NIA. Somemore, both times also he suay suay scored the black and the cue ball. Tsk Tsk, to think that i came from PJ pool team. After pool, went to GLM and did our usual PMA( Pre-match Analysis )!!. Had our usual high level of discussion of analysis for our upcoming Testimonial match for Brian on Saturday. Went to Mac to discuss and after an hr later, went back up to GLM to meet up with Honglin, Jerome and Shaun. Yet again, we went to play pool -.- Finally, i record a win over Quan on today itself through open play! Justin, Brian and Ozy came afterwards before heading to Al Arzhaar to have dinner. As usual, that place got that unbelievable drive to inspire us to chat about topics that ain't suited for children man ( M18)... Really love the ( would u choose ..... or .... ) topic. HAHAHA, really had a great 2hrs over there laughing our asses off.
Went back home at around 10pm and watched a bit of bball in ESPN. It was then showing the Game 1 of the finals between Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz in the 1998 finals! Wah, that time still got Michael Jordan. Really a classic match. However, i went to wiki it and found out that the bulls lost. T_T, no more mood to watch the match and had another indepth analysis with Quan through webcam! Haha, yeah, i am really really excited about this Sat match. It's been around 3 months since i last played? Oh well, for Brian's sake, gonna make an exception to my earlier commitment of not playing after A's.
Oh well, look at the time now... 1.42am. Yawns, i'm really dead beat. 7hrs of sleep in the space of 2 days really drained all my energy out. Give me 10 pairs of wings i also cannot stay awake le bah! End this post with a new song, oh well, not exactly new song by secondhand serenade! Justin earlier sent me this song and at first, it doesn't seem really that attractive since "IT'S NOT OVER" is still more soothing. After a while, the rhythm and the beat just kept revolving around my head in the speed of 10000 rpm. Nice song nice song....
